Sony officially announces PlayStation Accessories app for PC and full support for DualSense features
Sony today announced the PlayStation Accessories app for PC, which is an updated version of the previous app with full support for the DualSense and DualSense Edge controllers.
You can enhance the performance of the DualSense and DualSense Edge wireless controllers on your Windows PC. So that the user can get full performance of all the features of the two controllers smoothly and with all supported games.
New PlayStation Accessories App Features for PC
- PlayStation Accessories is the new, updated name for the app dedicated to the DualSense wireless controller.
- With the DualSense Edge wireless controller, you can now create, edit, and switch between custom profiles on PC.
- Major improvements to the overall design, user experience, and custom UI of the app.

How to connect the controller to the PC
Using a USB cable, you can connect your DualSense or DualSense Edge controller to your PC and start using and customizing the unit as needed via the PlayStation Accessories app.
Or you can connect the DualSense or DualSense Edge controller to your PC via wireless connection by following these steps:
- Disconnect the USB cable if you are using it to connect to a PC.
- Make sure the power indicator on your console is off.
- If the player indicator is lit, press and hold the PS button until it turns off.
- While holding down the button Press and hold the PS button until the light bar flashes.
- Enable Bluetooth on your Windows computer, and then select the Add Bluetooth devices option.
- The computer detects nearby Bluetooth devices.
- Select your controller from the list of found Bluetooth devices.
- After the pairing process is complete, the light bar will flash and then the player indicator will light up.
