It looks like Sony accidentally revealed two PS Plus games for September early

It seems that Sony has accidentally revealed two of its PS Plus Extra games for September 2024 early.

Sony is set to unveil the second monthly batch of free games to be added to the Extra and Premium games library on Friday, September 13, 2024, but subscribers to the service have already noticed that both Final Fantasy 16 and Killer Klowns have appeared in the service's library of games and are available for download.

Since the early hours of Friday morning, a number of subscribers to the service were able to download the two games in their full versions and start playing without any problems. Unfortunately, a few hours later, it seems that Sony realized the mistake that occurred and removed the two games, which are no longer playable.

Sony has not commented on the matter, but expectations indicate that both Final Fantasy 16 and Killer Klowns will be among the games. PS Plus Extra and Premium will launch next month, September, but it seems that one of the PlayStation Store supervisors has pressed the activation button early.

If these analyses and expectations are correct, we believe that subscribers to the two packages will get the chance to experience one of the most powerful games of this year, which is Final Fantasy 16. While we expect the list to include more large and diverse titles that will be enough to satisfy subscribers to the service.

Sony has revealed the three titles that will be available as part of the PS Plus Essential games for September, which are of course also available to subscribers to the three monthly packages. Next month, players will get Quidditch Champions, MLB The Show 24, and finally the popular horror game Little Nightmares II.

All of these games will be available for download starting next Tuesday, September 3, 2024, and they are also playable on PlayStation 5 and 4.
