Kojima has started working on polishing Death Stranding 2 by fixing issues and adding details.

It seems that Kojima has started working intensively on the upcoming Death Stranding 2 game, but in a creative, dedicated and precise manner as we have been accustomed to in all his past titles.

So far, Death Stranding 2 has only been shown through a single trailer, through which we got to know many new characters, and we confirmed that some of the characters that were present in the first part will be present in the next part, but what is the status of the game now in the development process?

In a tweet posted by Kojima via His account on X site It was misunderstood by the players, as he said that he is currently fixing errors for the upcoming game and adding the necessary modifications to the details, and he continued speaking in it:

“I’m currently busy building and developing the game. While playing, I check the gameplay, the map, the enemies, the arrangement of objects, the events, the interface, the graphics, the sound, the animations, the cutscenes, the script, how everything connects together, the vibration, the rhythm of the game, the hints – this is the stage where I send feedback to the team. So, it will take some extra time.”

The tweet that Kojima referred to and was misunderstood by players, stated that Kojima is continuing to work on building the game over and over again and playing it, this word made the gaming community believe that the game has become fully playable “gold” and ready for release, so Kojima responded to his tweet and said that playing the game does not mean that it is ready, but rather playing it from a certain position to test for certain bugs and fix them in due time instead of waiting for the game to be released.

What we know so far is that the game will be released next year exclusively on the PS5, but there is no specific date yet. The latest confirmed information about the game says that it will appear at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show event, which will also witness Sony's presence. What are your expectations?
