ASUS Launches ROG Strix XG27AQDNG QD-OLED Monitor
ASUS has launched a new monitor in the ROG Strix series called the XG27AQDNG, which comes with a QD-OLED panel with a resolution of 1440 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 360 Hz. This 26.5-inch monitor is an ideal choice for gaming enthusiasts thanks to its advanced features.
The new monitor is very similar to the previous XG27AQDMG model, but differs in a few key aspects.
The new version comes with a matte panel, unlike the previous model which had a glossy panel. Additionally, the new version features a higher refresh rate of up to 360Hz, compared to 240Hz in the previous model. Both displays have a resolution of 1440 pixels and a low response time of 0.03 milliseconds (GtG).
The XG27AQDNG comes with advanced technologies like ASUS Anti-Flicker OLED and OLED Care+ settings to protect the screen from burn-in.
It also has a USB-C port with a charging power of up to 90 watts, in addition to HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 interfaces.
The panel used in this new model is QD-OLED, unlike its predecessor, which was based on WOLED technology, which means that the brightness distribution in the new screen may be less balanced. The screen covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, which enhances the quality of the colors displayed.
Asus has yet to reveal pricing details for this monitor, but it is expected to be more expensive than the previous model, the XG27AQDMG, which is currently selling for $699 on Amazon.
