Avowed extended trailer highlights 3 hero classes
Avowed had a special presence at Gamescom in Germany this year, and after it was postponed to next year, it became more exciting to get to know the game closely and discover the game more, especially since the game is in its final stages of development.
In the extended clip you can easily see the fundamental differences in the play style of each class and character, we see in the clip 3 classes which are the sorcerer, the barbarian and the ranger, each of them specializes in a specific weapon, the sorcerer focuses his abilities on magical powers while the ranger uses close-range melee weapons, and finally the ranger uses arrows and weapons that are relatively far away from the rest of the classes.
Don’t expect to choose your character class from the start of the game, Avowed is a role-playing game in every sense and the developer mentioned that developing the skill tree in any branch, whether magic, melee or ranged weapons, is what will determine the character’s class over hours of continuous play and upgrading, and it is possible to mix up the classes a little, but in the end the hero’s character will be dominated by one of the three.
The developer recently mentioned that the game will run at 30 frames per second on Xbox Series X/S platforms, and this is because the game is in a first-person perspective and will not need more than that in Obsidian’s view, which allows for stable performance in the latter.
Avowed will be released on Xbox Series X|S and PC in February 2025.
