Google Chrome allows better control over performance and resource consumption
Google launched a group New features For Chrome, it gives users greater control over browser performance and system resource consumption.
The updates include a new tool to automatically detect and immediately resolve performance issues. When slowness is detected in active tabs, alerts appear explaining the cause of the problem along with a “Fix Now” button to solve it directly. This tool can be disabled from the settings menu for users who want manual control.
The memory saving feature is also available in three modes:
- standard: Evaluates system needs and disables inactive tabs
- balanced: It analyzes your browsing habits and activates the feature when needed
- advanced: Makes tabs inactive after a short period

Google has added additional customization options that allow users to specify which sites they want to keep active even with the memory saving feature activated. The browser also displays a visual indicator on inactive tabs to alert users that they will need to be reloaded when they are used.
