Meet the Minecraft-like Core Keeper game with survival elements combined
Ever since Minecraft emerged and established itself as one of the most prominent open-world games, developers have been searching for the magic formula that can replicate its success. And now, it seems that Core Keeper has come close to achieving that goal. With its unique blend of building, exploration, and survival, Core Keeper offers a rich and similar gaming experience to Minecraft, but with creative touches that make it stand out from the crowd.
Core Keeper recently came out of Early Access after nearly two full years in that stage. The game is similar to the pixels of Stardew Valley with elements of mining and slashing in Minecraft, and most importantly, its main genre is Survival.
The game's plot is to place the player inside a cave trapped underground and extending endlessly, immersed in darkness with torches scattered everywhere. Like Minecraft, the game has no clear goal to achieve, but there is a mysterious core to it that remains dormant and constantly prompts the player to see and discover what it is.
The enemies the game contains are amazing, as the development team respects the principle that you are trapped underground and walking an endless path, so it really allows you to see and discover the scary and terrifying creatures that inhabit there, with huge monsters and statistical areas in the bowels of the earth.
The role-playing element of the game is one of the most eye-catching things, you have many properties that you have to upgrade such as the farm in addition to the gear and tools that you have to collect. The official release date of the game is August 27th, but it is currently among the list of games with the largest number of players on the platform Steam.
