PayMob supports digital transformation in Egypt by integrating Apple Pay

Financial technology company Paymob announced the integration of Apple Pay to its network of Egyptian merchants, giving consumers a safe and contactless way to shop using iPhone, iPad, and Mac devices.

“This is a pivotal moment for the payments landscape in Egypt,” said Mina Makar, Vice President of Products at Paymob. Merchants now have access to a globally loved payment solution.”

PayMob was founded in 2015 and specializes in integrated payment solutions, offering more than 50 payment methods for businesses of all sizes. The company was distinguished by being the first to obtain a payments facilitator license from the Central Bank of Egypt.

According to statistics StatistaEgypt's digital payments market is expected to grow by 15% annually, strengthening the country's position as a regional financial technology hub.

This integration reflects Paymob's vision to empower companies with advanced technologies, as the company seeks to redefine digital payments in Egypt and the region through a growing commercial base and strategic partnerships.
