YouTube launches AI feature to recover hacked accounts
YouTube has announced a new AI-powered feature to help hacked users recover their accounts and protect them from future breaches.
The feature was announced on YouTube’s support page on Google’s website.
The new feature, known as “Hacked Channel Helper,” allows “eligible creators” to troubleshoot their accounts when they’ve been hacked. The feature can be accessed via YouTube’s Help Center.
The assistant asks a series of questions to help affected users secure their Google Account sign-in, correct any changes the hacker made to their channel, and ensure the channel is protected from unauthorized access in the future.
The feature is currently only available in English and for a select number of “featured creators,” but Google is working to expand it to all YouTube creators.
