Some specifications of the iPhone 16 series camera leaked
New leaks have revealed some details related to the cameras in the upcoming iPhone 16 series.
The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are expected to get minor improvements, keeping the 48MP main sensor, while upgrading the wide-angle camera aperture from f/2.4 to f/2.2. Leaks also suggest that these models will support macro photography for the first time.
As for the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, the updates are expected to include increasing the resolution of the wide camera from 12 megapixels to 48 megapixels, with the use of pixel-binning technology to improve image quality.
Apple is also rumored to be adding a new “JPEG-XL” image format this year and users will be able to record 3K video at 120 frames per second.
Additionally, all iPhone 16 models are expected to include a new, touch-sensitive shutter button, making it easier to use the camera.
